Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document

Overview

We are consulting on a document which will provide further detail to Reading's adopted Local Plan policies on securing contributions towards affordable housing from development sites.

The draft Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) is a document that would provide guidance on meeting policies H3 (Affordable Housing) and H4 (Build to Rent Schemes) of the Reading Borough Local Plan. It would replace an existing Affordable Housing SPD dating from 2013.

We would like to hear your views on the draft by 5pm on the deadline of Friday 13 November 2020. Please respond by email to planningpolicy@reading.gov.uk.

Comments received will be taken into account in producing a final version for adoption. Once adopted, it will be used in decisions on planning applications.
