Overview

With the development of the Heights School at Mapledurham Playing Fields, the Council is now carrying out a consultation with the public on the installation of a ‘school keep clear’ restriction which would prevent vehicles from parking on the school entrance markings between Monday to Friday (8am-5pm).

This restriction is intended to help manage the highway network around the school entrance and improve road safety for pedestrians.

We are now carrying out statutory consultation on this proposal. Objections or comments should be sent in by:

  • Filling out the online survey below
  • Emailing highway.objections@reading.gov.uk
  • Or in writing to M Graham, Assistant Director for Legal and Democratic Services, Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices, Reading, RG1 2LU
