Draft Design Guide to House Extensions

Overview

We are consulting on a document which will give guidance to those planning to extend their homes on making a planning application and how it will be assessed. 

The draft Design Guide to House Extensions is a Supplementary Planning Document, which gives further details on policies in the Reading Borough Local Plan on house extensions and other householder development.  It would replace an existing Design Guide to House Extensions dating from 2003.

Comments received will be taken into account in producing a final version for adoption.  Once adopted, it will be used in decisions on planning applications.
