Palmer Park Pay and Display consultation

Overview

Leisure car parks attract parking from the surrounding area leaving little or no car parking for legitimate users of the leisure facility. 

The proposal is aimed to manage the use of the parking area at Palmer Park, prioritising parking for use by those using the park facilities. These proposals will also aim to protect the parking areas from potential residential, business and/or commercial parking displacement following the introduction of the nearby resident permit parking scheme in East Reading.
