Red Route: Oxford Road and Norcot Road Parking Bays

Overview

Installation of the Red Route in Oxford Road and Norcot Road has now been completed. In response to feedback from residents, we have installed some on-street parking bays close to properties on Norcot Road to provide unrestricted parking. We have also created a loading bay on Oxford Road following requests from local businesses.

Reading Borough Council are now carrying out a formal statutory consultation where residents and other road users will have the opportunity to share their views regarding these bays.

Objections or comments should be sent in by:

•Emailing highway.objections@reading.gov.uk

•Or in writing to M Graham, Assistant Director of Legal and Democratic Services, Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU by no later than 26th March 2020.

All comments received will be presented to the Traffic Management Sub-Committee at their meeting in June 2020.
