Overview
At the Annual General Meeting the Chair and Treasurer said that they would be stepping down from their roles in early 2018. It was agreed that KCA needs more residents involved and should change the way it works in order to thrive.
KCA has moved from monthly to bi-monthly meetings and would like residents to be involved with one of three groups to deal with issues in our area:
- Community safety/crime reduction issues
- Environmental issues - such as the community allotment and clean up events
- Community events - such as Christmas Fayre
Why your views matter
If residents do not get involved, KCA may not be able to continue. As well as getting involved with one of the 3 groups, there are additional roles that are available, some of which are shown below:
- Keeping Notice Boards up to date
- Looking after KCA's Facebook page
- Looking after KCA's new website
